Wow it’s been a long and hectic week… It feels good to finally be able to relax on the weekend. We’re celebrating mothers day at home so lots of pictures I’m going to try the heart shaped bokeh on my 85mm lens. Will post results…

Tried the 36 exp thing this past Sunday, but was too partied out to really find any inspiration… maybe this weekend.

But at least Saturday was pretty good, got to take a few shots…

Going to try the upload for wordpress for the 1st time… hopefully it’s good

ok… looks like it uses flash to upload a gallery… 3 gigs of space… lets see it publish

I’m also planning the 36 exposure idea that I read from another forum… 36 exposures to capture a scene… hopefully something comes out from it

Motivation for change

I’ve read a blog about losing creativity and slipping into a state that doesn’t promote change. I feel like this rut could be circumvented by doing other active things and socializing with more people. So my goal for this coming week would be to do more active things and socializing. Saturday is covered because of a wedding I’ll be attending. Sunday should be something more active… 24, beach, more photo shooting? I’m going to really try to set a goal every week so I’ll be able to see change.

It’s been a while since I’ve had the drive to post something on this blog… I guess this post will start me off again.
The job market isn’t doing too well, or so I tell myself. With all the tools to help me stay connected to the web I find myself staying away from technology and just end up doing nothing. This recession has really taken a toll on the masses… I’m not really sure what to write but I know that I should write something.

How about the new book slated to be released in September 15, 2009? Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol is a book that I’ve been anticipating for since last year.

amazon.com currently has it on pre-order, I can’t wait!

I also picked up a sbbn007 or a Seiko tuna can as it’s nicknamed

It’s a great watch, but the junk thing is the customs tax that I had to pay… Oh well…

I just finished reading Hunger Games and it’s a pretty good book. It makes me want to continue to read more about it (supposedly it’s a 3 book series) but I’ll have to wait to see what happens next…

The second book Catching Fire has been announced, and is supposed to be released September 1st. Can’t wait

A good friend is also getting married this weekend. Kellie and Jay have been together for quite a while and they’re finally going to make it official Congratulations Kellie and Jay!

It’s a simple game of bowling that you can play with another person or against the computer. I’ve played this game with a friend when we are waiting for something/someone, or if we’re just looking for something to do when we’re waiting.

In my opinion this game is worth getting/keeping on your iphone.
